ABOUT SELWYN

Centrally located in the County of Peterborough, one hour north of the GTA, our community is surrounded by water on three sides and borders the City of Peterborough and the City of Kawartha Lakes.

The area includes the Hamlet of Bridgenorth, Ennismore, Lakefield, Curve Lake, Young’s Point and other smaller towns and hamlets.

Bridgenorth is situated on Chemong Lake with a small residential community surrounded by a rural landscape and many cottages.
Ennismore is mainly rural and surrounded by Chemong Lake,  Buckhorn Lake and Pigeon Lake.
Lakefield is a small residential community located on the Otonabee River, part of the Trent Severn Waterway. It has a number of historic homes and heritage sites and many of the amenities found in the city.
Young’s Point is on the Trent Severn Waterway and Lock 27. This area is popular with nearly residents for fishing and swimming and has some great marinas, shopping and restaurants.
