Cavan Monaghan is a Township in Peterborough County in central-eastern Ontario, 20 km southwest of Peterborough, right off the 115 Highway. Cavan Monaghan consists of the communities of Carmel, Cavan, Cedar Valley, Five Mile Turn, Fraserville, Ida, Millbrook, Mount Pleasant, South Monaghan, Springville, Tapley, part of Bailieboro, Cavan Station, Draneol, Fairmount, Kendry and Murray Hill. Millbrook is the Township’s population centre.

Millbrook is convenient to both the 115 & 401 and home to many commuters who work in Durham Region, GTA or Peterborough. 
Millbrook has many historical buildings and such an attractive small town charm that a number of movie productions have been filmed here.
