Kawartha Highlands Provincial Park – is the second largest in southern Ontario. It is in Trent Lakes – set around Catchacoma Lake & Mississauga Lake. It is a 92,880 acre Natural Environment Park that has trails and allows back country camping and most of the park is water access only, with a number of canoe routes.
Wolf Island Provincial Park is a 550 acre water access only park. It is an island between Lower Buckhorn & Lovesick Lake. It has no facilities and you must carry in and carry out all items.
John Earle Chase Memorial park is a 400 acre park located in the Gannon Narrows area, on the shores of Pigeon Lake and offers day use trails only.
