Fireworks – there are a multitude of events happening all across Northumberland County.
Some events will take place over the entire weekend June 27th, 28th, 29th, 30th & July 1st,
so check the Community Events Calendar to see if you would like to make a whole weekend
plan for Canada Day. Visit the Waterfront Festival in Cobourg on Saturday or Sunday or Monday
and then enjoy Canada Day at another location on the Tuesday.

Cobourg
Cobourg Waterfront Festival
This weekend is the Cobourg Waterfront Festival, which happens every Canada Day weekend. With live music, local performers and a line-up of great entertainment, there is always something going on. The Lions Marketplace offers Art, Handmade Goods and other treasures. The Rotary Artisan tents showcase regional artist and creators. Beverage tents, Games and a Midway, as well as a Beach, round out an incredible weekend, with the Fireworks over the Harbour as the grand finale.
Saturday June 28th – Cobourg Waterfront Festival – 7:00 am to 10:00 pm
Sunday June 29th – Cobourg Waterfront Festival – 7:00 am to 10:00 pm
Monday June 30th – Cobourg Waterfront Festival – 7:00 am to 10:00 pm
Tuesday July 1st – Cobourg Waterfront Festival – 7:00 am to 11:00 pm

Canada Day Celebrations in Cobourg
11:00am – Canada Day Parade (King St & William St – travels east along King to Victoria Park)
12:30am – Opening Ceremonies in Victoria Park
1:00pm – 5:00pm – Multicultural Music & Dancing – Rotary Harbourfront Park
1:00pm – 10:00pm – Canada Day Entertainment at the Bandshell
10:00pm – Fireworks over Cobourg Harbour
*park for free at the Northumberland Mall or Cobourg Community Centre & ride the free shuttle bus to downtown. Shuttle busses run every 30 minutes Saturday, Sunday, Monday & Canada Day from 9:30am to 11pm. Shuttle stops include Northumberland Mall Bus Shelter, Cobourg Community Centre Bus Stop, Downtown Terminal East of Church Street & Cobourg Marina

8:00am – 11:00am – Pancakes in the Park(Memorial Park)
9:00am – 3:00pm – Show’n Shine Car Show – (Town Hall Rotary Park)
10:00am – 11:00am – Outdoor Yoga (back lawn of Town Hall)
11:00am – Canada Day Parade – along Ridout, Walton, Pine & Augusta Streets
11:00am – 8:00pm – Games & Activities – Mini putt, Bouncy Castles, Laser Tag & Ball Hockey & more
11:00am – 10:00pm – Refreshment Gardens
11:45am – Official Opening Ceremony of Canada Day – singing & Queenies cupcakes
1:00pm – 4:00pm – Wagon Rides – p/u Queen Street across from Cenotaph
12:00pm – 10:00pm – Live Music in Memorial Park
